As you probably recognize, Total Equity ReleaseTM is a way of raising the maximum amount of money from the equity which is tied up in your property, within the shortest time possible. Typical circumstances in which this could be of considerable benefit include:-

  • Divorce: final settlements can be made quickly whilst one of the partners was still able to stay in the family home

  • Business funding: substantial funds could be made available very quickly

  • Holiday home purchase: Cash could be made available to buy a home in the sun whilst still having a rented base in the UK

  • Helping close relatives to get a start on the property ladder

  • Providing funds for urgent medical costs involving expensive drugs which are not available on the NHS

Please do not confuse Total Equity ReleaseTM with the mortgage type of equity release plan which only provides a very small proportion of the equity in the property, and in which compound interest can very quickly gobble up the property's value. Our plan provides for the release of up to 100% of the market value of the house, 70% of which is payable immediately and 30% later, and then the property is rented back subject to a fair and affordable rent.
